Who is Doc?
For Doc, hip-hop and R&B music always began with good production and songwriting, even when he first started listening back in middle school in the early to mid 90's. It shouldn't come as a surprise that his love of music continued on in college, where as a member of an online music forum he began looping hip-hop instrumentals at the request of others on the forum. Looping other beats turned into looping samples and laying them on top of looped break beats, which eventually turned into Doc teaching himself drum programming and how to produce after he left college in the mid 2000's.
For the second half of this decade Doc has been steadily improving his music, working with everybody from up and coming artists like Armond (who's "31 Days of Dreaming" project you can find exclusively on this site) and Clap Cognac to platinum selling artists like G-Unit's Lloyd Banks. From 2006 to the present, Doc has been working closely with Superstar Jay & his right hand man (and fellow co-founder of Rough Draft Entertainment) Big T on a number of mixtape projects. Doc is also heavily involved with producing Superstar Jay's own artist Storm P.
